The make
Four hundred and seventy grams of pure new wool, milled eleven miles from where it is cut.
The cloth comes off a Yorkshire loom that has been running since 1837. Half-canvas construction means the chest holds its shape without the board-stiffness of a fused front — it moves, and it keeps moving after a hundred wears.
Three buttons, notch lapel, two flap pockets and a ticket pocket. It sits below the knee. Nothing on it is there to be noticed.
British-milled cloth
Pure new wool at 470gsm, woven on a Yorkshire loom that has been running since 1837.
Half-canvas front
The chest holds its shape without the board-stiffness of a fused front. It moves with you.
Cut below the knee
