The most sustainable thing we do is sell less.

The fashion industry is the second largest polluter in the world. We don’t want to add to that. Here’s how we try not to.

We make less, less often

Our range is small — around 30 styles — and stable. We don’t do drops, capsules, or seasonal restocks driven by trend forecasting. The same Heavyweight Cotton Tee will still be sold next year, in the same fabric, in the same colours.

We choose better materials

Organic and recycled cotton wherever the fabric allows.
Recycled cashmere blended with merino — lower impact, similar hand.
European linen, traceable to the field.
Recycled nylon and PrimaLoft for outerwear shells and fills.
Vegetable-tanned leather, not chrome-tanned.

We make where the craft is

British wool is milled in Yorkshire. Knitting happens in Hawick, Scotland. Tailoring in Portugal. Selvedge denim in Okayama, Japan. Leather goods in Italy. We pay our makers what they ask.

We ship cleaner

Our packaging is FSC-certified recycled cardboard with paper tape. Garments are wrapped in recycled glassine, not plastic. We offset the residual emissions from our shipping through verified projects.

We repair, not replace

If something we’ve made for you breaks under normal wear within five years of purchase, we’ll repair it free of charge. Email repairs@haven.co.uk with photos and your order number.
