Our Story

HAVEN was started as a quiet rebellion against fast fashion.

We make a small range of clothes — tees, knits, trousers, coats — designed to be worn for years rather than seasons. No drops. No restocks at the speed of an algorithm. Just considered pieces, in considered fabrics, in a small set of considered colours.

Why we exist

The fashion industry makes more clothes than the planet can absorb, and asks customers to keep buying more of them. We started HAVEN in London to do the opposite: design fewer, better things, make them where the craft genuinely lives, and stand behind them long after the sale.

What we believe

A wardrobe should get smaller as it gets better. An Oxford shirt at £85, worn for a decade, is cheaper than a £25 shirt worn for a season. The most sustainable garment is the one already in your wardrobe — the second most sustainable is the one designed to take its place when it finally wears out.

How we make

Where we can, we work with mills and makers we can name and visit. Wool milled in Yorkshire. Knitting in Hawick, Scotland. Tailoring in Portugal. Selvedge denim woven in Okayama, Japan. Vegetable-tanned leather finished in Italy. We pay them what they ask. We accept that this means our clothes cost more than they could — we think that's the deal.

The team

HAVEN is a small, independent team based in London — design, sourcing and customer care under one roof. We answer our own emails. If you write to hello@haven.co.uk, a person who works on the collection will reply, usually within a working day.

HAVEN began with a simple frustration: a wardrobe full of clothes that didn't last and didn't mean anything. We set out to make the opposite — a tight collection of pieces worth keeping, made by people we can name. Thank you for being here at the start.
